   a good place to start is call John Deere they should be able to tell you how old it is. As far as the value its really worth what you can get for it. I would check auction houses and see if the have sold anything like it and what it sold for. Plan on spending a good bit of time doing research because you will probable get a very wide price range depending on who you talk to. one other Idea is to check with farm museums.
