Huge auction lot tour (antiques, trucks, tractors, vintage farm equipment, etc.)

Prior to starting searching for a classic or any pre-owned tractor for the place, there are some factors you have to take into account. To start with, try not to become carried away from nostalgia. Buying and rebuilding an old tractor may be a great satisfying hobby to engage in. Nonetheless it also can turn out to be a pricey one.

huge tour of the auction lot up at the tractor show. I didnt get too many videos of up there, but my Bolens was one of the show tractors and i ran it from Monday-Sunday in the parade and drove it around showing it off hours each day. It would have had the foot throttle if i would have started working on it a day before i did, but at least the straight pipes were on it. Enjoy the huge auction lot tour, you might find something interesting in this video that you like.

Prior to your starting to look for your tractor, be certain you know what you actually would like. This may seem overly basic, however it is easy to become side tracked and buy something that you didn't start out to purchase. Only if you are able to prepare an itemized listing of your requirements should you begin your hunt. Do not forget to incorporate your technical and performance requirements in your list. If you do not know exactly what you happen to be looking for, how are you going to determine how and where to search?

If you are sincerely looking for a vintage tractor, be careful and not let enthusiasm get the best of you. If you do, you could well be in trouble before you begin the project. Restoring an antique tractor or other old farm implement is gratifying. Nevertheless it is not an overnight project and it might become costly very fast. Components for a lot of aged tractors are obtainable but some are difficult to locate and can be on the spendy side. Factory original tires may be difficult to locate and reproduction tires can cost more than the tractor. You might find that instead of purchasing a project tractor, it would be just as fulfilling to acquire one which someone else has already put all of the effort, expense and time into. Chances are good that you could buy it for a lesser amount of cash than the owner put into it, to say nothing about all of his labor.

Test any tractor before you acquire it. Is it simple to get started and look, solid and feel right? Are the tires in good shape? Is there any kind of hydraulic seepage evident? Do you see any missing parts or accessories? Be sure and give just as close an inspection to any attachments. As a final point, be sure that an antique tractor genuinely fits the needs of the job you desire it for. It's hard to go wrong with an antique tractor such as a John Deere if you search carefully.

a single problem with the mower, runs like a top and never fails to start, and yes, it cuts pretty good too.can’t complain, $1,350 paid over 4 1/2 years ago and not a single broken part or belt, not one deck adjustment or flat tire, Automatic transmission and decent turning radius, i will post an action shot soon, need to finish working on my truck tomorrow and then i will fire it up and video some cutting action! stay tuned.
