Well you did good buying a JD with a Briggs Stratton. Best thing to do is go to a JD dealer and ask for advice. Generally they are most helpful and knowledgeable.
If you bought a Dynamark with a MDW engine I would say “put your head between your legs and kiss your #%@! goodbye.
