Question about restoring old toy trucks/tractors…….?
My bf collects 1/16 scale toy tractors, farm implements, and trucks. He recently received a large amount of old toys from a farmer, and some are in fairly rough shape. Will redoing the paint and performing repairs on them reduce their value, or would it be worth restoring them. He keeps some and sells others...but is curious if he should leave them as they are or not.
They're Tonka, Nylant, Ertle, and also Structo, I believe.
They're from the 50's and 60's.
if they are from the 1940′s or earlier.. he should leave them as is.
even from the 50′s.. same~….
painting them make them look nice.. but dont do any good for their value.
