What to do for a John Deere theme reception?
When you start trying to find a classic or any pre-owned tractor for use on your place, there are a few items you should take into account. First, do not become captivated by nostalgia. Obtaining and restoring an antique tractor can be a marvelous pleasing hobby to engage in. But it may turn out to be a really expensive one.
My wedding is Aug 1st. We're having a John Deere reception. I'm having a hard time finding things does anyone have ideas? Or even places online to find things?
Prior to your beginning to look for your tractor, be sure you know what you really want. Most of the time, you can find a lot of John Deere stuff at Cracker Barrel…you know the restaurants on the highways…I know it sounds weird, but they always have that stuff there. Good Luck and Congrats on the wedding!

Cake:
Have someone make the groom’s cake in the shape of a tractor. Or, do a chocolate cake with green coconut “grass” and find a mini replica tractor to put on the top of the cake. You could look at Mast General Store or Cracker Barrel for the models.
Decor:
Use gingham table cloths and then put a bunch of daisies in mason jars for the centerpiece. Tie a green or yellow ribbon around the jars.
Food:
Make cutesy labels for the snacks. Include chocolate “haystacks”.
Music:
You HAVE to play, “She thinks my tractor’s ****.”

i dont know of any websites where they have john deere wedding stuff but you can always get your things customized. maybe ride away on a john deere complete with balloons and shoes hanging off the back (like other weddings have with their cars) when its time to leave.

Have all the tractors you can be there all nice and shiny. Everybody likes to show off their tractor and it would be a fun activity.

The easiest thing to do is to use the colors, yellow and green, throughout your wedding and put touches of John Deere stuff in things like your cake, centerpieces (wouldn’t it be cute to have a tractor on a mini lawn for your centerpieces?), maybe even put the JOhn Deere logo on your invites and programs, etc…
Another idea would be to find someone who can sew and have them custom make some of the items for your wedding, whether it be linens, or even your dress! ??tab=list/evening_prom_bridal&page=all
